Leave it up to the queen to come up with this dazzling, creative thriller about dreams, which blurs the lines with reality, which I find intriguing, with twists and connections to the past. Can you change your fate?
Annabelle’s present life converges with the past and the future when she questions if she can change the outcome. Multi-layered and thought-provoking, told from multiple points of view and timelines, all add to the intensity.
Told in alternating timelines with a mysterious bonus POV adding to the mystery that will keep you turning the pages.
Razor sharp, a page-turning mix of family drama, domestic suspense, and psychological thriller of family secrets, passions, and dreams that haunt us.
WARNING: Carve out the time before you start reading. Once I started reading, I could not put it down and stayed up all night until I finished. The same thing happened to me the previous night when reading John Grisham's upcoming The Widow. So now, I have not been able to get back to sleeping at night, finding myself napping during the day and up all night.
But isn't this the true meaning of a great book, when you cannot put the book down, but if you try to sleep, you are thinking of it, and you're back up to pull an all-nighter. Now, I am back to being an insomniac again.
