Wilson does an incredible job of building a quiet sense of dread. The pairing of Annie and Riven creates a fascinating dynamic—two women shaped entirely by survival and loyalty but standing on opposite sides of a collision course. The twists continuously reframe what you think you know, shifting the story from a straightforward revenge hunt into a dark, complex puzzle.
A brilliant exploration of family loyalty and survival where the line between justice and vengeance completely dissolves.
