THE NOT SO HAPPY COUPLE Is a delicious, unhinged joyride popcorn thirller. The addition of ominous, mysterious love letters written to Bradley on his wedding day adds an extra layer of structural brilliance. Shiner manages to make a 300-page book feel like a two-hour movie because the pacing is so aggressive. You will spend the entire book guessing, changing your mind, and side-eyeing every line of dialogue.
