The Bluff by Wade Rouse is an absolute masterpiece. As a devoted fan who has cherished all of his work—both under his own name and his famous pen name Viola Shipman—I can confidently say this is his most deliciously chaotic, fiercely witty, and emotionally resonant novel yet. His summer beach reads and winter holiday treats are not to be missed.

My Thoughts
As someone who has devoured everything Wade Rouse has written, The Bluff feels like the ultimate culmination of his talent and as always full of heart. I love the setting as this was one of my mom's favorite spots to visit! The dialogue is snappy, the pacing never lets up, and the slow-burn explosion of family drama is incredibly satisfying. It features one of the best "heck yeah!" mic-drop moments in recent fiction when the truth finally comes out. THE BLUFF would make a great Hallmark Movie!
